Elio Chaghoury is a multidisciplinary artist born in 1995 and based in Beirut, Lebanon. He works across sound, music, installation, sculpture and painting. Self-taught, with a background in interior architecture, his work moves between abstract expressionism and distinctive still-life studies.
His approach to abstract calligraphy distorts and deconstructs the shapes of human-written letters, building visual languages that question what abstract calligraphy can be. The work is a form of self-exploration — an ongoing experiment with materials and form.
